Cook at home chocolate fondant

A seriously gooey chocolate fondant with a spicy heat.

Prep time 15 minutes. Cook time 12 minutes. Makes 8.




185g 60% Dark Chocolate

185g Butter

100g Caster Sugar

4 Egg Yolks

4 Whole Eggs

20g Plain Flour

4g Essential Cuisine Mexican Spice Rub



Melt together the chocolate, butter and sugar. 

Combine the egg yolks and whole eggs and whisk to combine with the first mixture.

Take a small amount of the mixture and make a paste with the flour and spice rub, then combine all together.

Pipe into a greased and cocoa powdered mould and chill before cooking at 170c for 12 minutes (size dependant).

Leave to rest for 1 minute for turning out onto plate.


Serving Suggestion

Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream and garnish with cocoa powder and Barbara Decor Dark Chocolate Ruben.
