The Craft Guild of Chefs Honours and Awards were announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) where over 100 guests enjoyed lunch at the Hilton Waldorf on Sunday 23rd April 2023.
The event began with a drinks and canapés reception before guests were asked to take their seats in preparation for the awards ceremony.
The Essential Cuisine team (part of Solina Group) were absolutely delighted to receive the “Company Award”, presented to a business partner who has shown significant support and involvement with The Craft Guild of Chefs over the past year.
Andrew Green, Chief Executive of The Craft Guild of Chefs said, “Essential were one of our very first business partners, and can be seen everywhere with their distinctive royal blue jackets. Not only can they be seen, but they want to be part of everything that is good about the industry and the Craft Guild. Supporting the graduates for well over 15 years, they have taken on the mantle as joint headline sponsors of National Chef of the Year.”
Heather Wilde, General Manager of Essential Cuisine added, “The Essential Cuisine team understand the importance of offering education and support to fledgling and professional chefs of all levels. The company is a headline partner of the 2023 National Chef of the Year competition, a key sponsor of The Craft Guild of Chefs Graduate Awards & the South West Young Chef of the Year competition, and the creator of the Essential Skills Series. Our incredibly talented chef team regularly give up their free time to mentor and offer ‘kitchen takeovers’ to chefs of all levels throughout the industry. We truly value this award, and the recognition it gives to the whole team.”
