Next month’s coronation is set to be a huge, nationwide celebration and you’ll undoubtedly be rolling out the red carpet with lots of regal treats. 

If you’re still looking for inspiration, Samantha Rain and our team of development chefs have created a banquet of recipes to help you make the most of this historic event. 

The nation will be enjoying an extra bank holiday to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on May 6, so there’ll be street parties a-plenty.

The HB team has excelled themselves with a slew of fabulous recipes. They include: royal vanilla snacking bars, sticky toffee bon bons, lime meringue pie, strawberry and champagne trifle, trio of mushrooms and royal rack of lamb

Samantha commented:

“The King’s coronation is going to be such a momentous occasion and the whole nation will be wanting to celebrate in some way. 

“People will be going all out with Union Jack bunting and decorations, and looking to purchase food products specifically themed to the day to serve at their parties. Hospitality venues will be serving special menus on the day too and hopefully our recipes will provide the inspiration they need to create a banquet fit for a king.”

In addition, our ice cream and gelato technician Mark Eastman has replicated the Sovereign’s Orb and Sceptre in ice cream form
