This dark cocoa powder not only provide an intense deep colour to bakes but the chocolate flavour packs a punch as is lovely and rich. I've made brownies and ganache with it and it's superb.

This is a dark cocoa but it’s not black cocoa. Really disappointed. The Van Houten one that HB Ingredients used to sell was the best I’ve found in the UK. This one is rubbish as a substitute. Such a let down.

Good afternoon Steven Thank you for your review although I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with this product. We have found that, while the powder form does not look black, it will darken to black upon application. Our team have suggested, if you haven’t already, trying this to see the results. Although at first sight i was disappointed,as the colour wasn't as black as my old one Van Haughten, which i used for years, when used in the bakery,the colour developed and had same effect as the other. It colours enough. I love it.
