Tandoori chicken

Tandoori chicken is one of the UK's favourite dishes and with the Essential Cuisine South Indian Spice Rub you can really get an authentic tasting dish at home. It's quick to prep and cook, is tender and mouth wateringly delicious.
For this dish you'll need two chicken breasts cut in half horizontally and slashed five times across the meat to allow the spices to permeate.



30g Essential Cuisine South Indian Spice Rub
40g greek yoghurt
15g lemon juice


Add all the ingredients for the marinade to a bowl and mix well.

Once mixed add your chicken to the bowl and mix again ensuring all the chicken is completely covered.

Leave overnight in the fridge.

Grill the chicken on high heat until cooked through and almost burning on the surface (do not wash off marinade).


You can add a little red food colouring if you want that deep red tandoori colour, but this is not essential.

To Serve

Serve with lemon wedge, naan bread, crisp lettuce and mango chutney.
