MethodBeat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (this can be done on a machine or by hand). Add in your vanilla paste and the whole egg and mix thoroughly. Add in the self-raising flour and mix until it is all incorporated. Finally fold through your oats and chocolate. Shape the mixture into 20 even balls, press down slightly on the top to flatten and bake at 190c for 12-15 minutes |
Tip
For extra indulgence add a third chocolate and have triple chocolate or go for the slightly healthier option and add some nuts or orange zest to give a little extra flavour!
