Henley Bridge is proud to be associated with the movers and shakers who support and promote the wonderful work being undertaken within the food industry. As a leading supplier to the UK ice cream and gelato sector, we’ve become a member of the Ice Cream Alliance (ICA), the only UK trade association for ice cream manufacturers and retailers.
Our membership means we can forge a closer working relationship with the key players in the business, and be in a better position to serve our own ice cream and gelato customers.
A history of service
The ICA is the only membership trade association for the ice cream industry in the UK and was founded in 1944.
Its membership includes owners of ice cream manufacturers, gelato parlours, vans and dessert shops, and offers advice, resources and information to support their business needs.
Show time
A key event in the ICA calendar is The Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show – and we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be exhibiting at the next one!
It’s the only trade event specifically catering for both ice cream and artisan food markets in the UK, and will be held at a new venue: the Birmingham NEC on February 4-5 next year.
A welcome change
Our master technician in gelato and ice cream, Steve Carrigan, is thrilled to be working more closely with the ICA.
He commented: “The ICA has a new management team and we’re really excited to see the positive direction they are taking the association in.
“There have already been lots of changes, including moving their show from Harrogate to the more central location of Birmingham.
“We’re really looking forward to exhibiting there and will be showcasing all of our ice cream and gelato products, as well as soft serve and thick shakes, with live demonstrations planned throughout both days.”
