Luker Chocolate aims to change the world through the power of chocolate, and they have placed this sentiment at the heart of their sustainability programme, The Chocolate Dream. This programme works to transform the cocoa chain from origin, increasing value throughout.
Implementing an anchor model, Luker Chocolate have started their own cocoa farms in Necocli, Huila and Casanare, Colombia. This has enabled them to create their unique, single-origin Fine Flavour Cocoa. While ensuring availability of their cocoa, these farms also support local farmers and communities by providing formal employment and supporting education, training and entrepreneurship.
The improved production and considered processes implemented to craft Fine Flavour Cocoa generate increased value throughout the whole cocoa chain. This produces a higher quality product, the value of which is then shared with the cocoa chain.
