We are delighted that Norohy has achieved B-Corp certification, showcasing a milestone in its journey towards sustainability and social responsibility.
Norohy is a brand committed to using ethically sourced vanilla products, their pods coming from the incredible regions of eastern Madagascar and Tahaa in the French Polynesian Islands. Norohy has ensured their pods undergo a thorough refining process to ensure incredible quality whilst maintaining their natural essence.
Sustainability and social responsibility
What has set the brand apart is the production of quality products and their ethically focused practices. From initial sourcing to the final product, there is full traceability which has offered customers to connect with the full production journey from vanilla bean right back to the planter.
One key measurement of the brand's journey toward social responsibility has been its commitment to paying farmers and partners fair wages. Norohy farmers benefit from increased pay through a bonus system which ensures fair compensation for their work and avoids labour exploitation. Such bonuses include fair trade development, organic practices, and quality assurance.
The certification
The B-Corp certification recognises the brands commitment to environmental protection, ethical labour practices, and community engagement. To achieve the certification, the brand identified 3 areas for action
• Organic & traceable supply chains
• Clean label recipes and eco-designed packaging
• Improving living conditions
Join us in celebrating Norohy’s achievement as they continue to push towards a more ethical and sustainable future.
