Frequently asked questions
What size tempering machine do I need?
What size tempering machine do I need?
It depends on your production volume and growth plans. Get in touch and we'll talk through the right fit for your kitchen.
What's the difference between single phase and three phase?
What's the difference between single phase and three phase?
Single phase is standard UK domestic / commercial 230V - plugs into a normal socket. Three phase is industrial 380V - and needs an electrician to install and a dedicated supply. The smaller Chocolate World machines are single phase; the larger ones are three phase. We can advise on what your facility supports.
Are these moulds compatible with enrobing lines?
Are these moulds compatible with enrobing lines?
Yes - Chocolate World polycarbonate moulds are designed to integrate with the full Chocolate World production line. Ask us about specific mould-to-line compatibility for your setup.
Are the moulds dishwasher safe?
Are the moulds dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand-washing for the longest mould life - warm water, no detergent, dry inverted on a clean cloth. Dishwasher cycles (high heat + aggressive detergent) can affect the polycarbonate's gloss over time, which in turn affects the chocolate's shine.
